Fourth of July in the States. I forgot what it was after spending the last 4 in Anguillla where it is definitely NOT a holiday. But it made me reminisce that 20 years ago was my first vacation to Anguilla. What a long strange trip its been since then.
I also forgot what a REAL storm is. Monsoons!! Bundled up in a blanket reading a book, listening to the massive thunder, watching the incredible lightening, and being mesmerized by the patter of rain drops. There may be nothing more comforting.
It just keeps getting better.
